messages placed strategically throughout the websites. Select the appropriate
site for your target customer. Sizes and placements vary. Rates starting
at $3,000.
E-newsletters– Have something special to offer Minneapolis
visitors? Are you hosting a special event during a convention? Interested
in reaching
other members? Promote it through monthly or quarterly targeted emails.

Special offer coupons– Create discount offers to
drive visitors to your establishment. As a member, update your promotion

often as
you like. The number of users downloading your offer

Convention Center interactive signage
Located on the main lobby level of the Minneapolis Convention Center,
viewed by 1.2 million visitors annually.
- Option 1: LCD message screens can interactively promote your message.
Rich media messages rotate in 15-second intervals.
- Option 2: Utilize touch screen information kiosks in the main lobby
level of the Minneapolis Convention Center to boost your exposure
(Premium positions will include brochure distribution. Limited to certain

Highly visible backlit message signs are viewed by more than five million
drivers that pass by the Minneapolis Convention Center each year.

An electronic text message board system runs continuously in the main
lobby of the Minneapolis Convention Center. Promote your message 24/7. Rates

Visitor information center brochure rack
Brochure racks positioned around the Visitor Information Center allow
for 8.5” by 11” graphic displays of your promotional message.

Direct marketing tools
A variety of tools are available to you to help increase your exposure to convention
attendees and visitors:
- Brochure insertion: Reach 50,000 visitors who request visitor information
packets via mail. Also, use a promotional panel in the guide to increase
your exposure. Rates starting at $3,000.
- Visitor information packet– Increase your exposure to visitors
with a promotional panel on the visitor information
packet envelope.

- Bargain Book: Printed coupon book distributed to 100,000 convention
attendees. As a bonus, you receive an e-coupon on www.minneapolis.org.

- Minneapolis metro dining guide: Use a promotional message in the guide--100,000
copies are distributed annually. $1,500.
- Membership directory: In addition to your listing, promotional message
space is available. This is distributed to meeting planners, group travel
managers and members. $3,000.
- Minneapolis downtown and Riverfront maps: Feature your business and
reach 300,000 visitors annually. Rates starting at $2,000.
Additional tools available to members: Monthly definite notices– Receive timely updates
to the
Convention Calendar, including a list of contacts/decision makers for
upcoming conventions and meetings. $300.
Additonal category member directory listings– For an additional
$150 per listing your business can receive multiple placements in the
printed and online membership directories, making it
easier for customers to find and do business with you.
