"New attractions on the riverfront, a lively theater scene, interesting neighborhoods and a wide variety of restaurant
choices keep visitors busy in Minneapolis and St. Paul." – St. Louis Post Dispatch
Bryant Lake Bowl
A young, creative clientele heads out to neighborhood bars and brew-pubs in Uptown, Northeast and Lyn-Lake. Downtown, with
dozens of eateries and bars on Nicollet Mall alone, is a vibrant and safe place to let loose. Its compact makeup is split into
several districts, each with a distinct flavor.
The Warehouse District is the center of Minneapolis nightlife where upscale bars, dance clubs and hip food finds line the
streets. The Hennepin Theatre District is home to three historic theaters and plenty of nightspots to accommodate the
theater-going crowds. The Riverfront District straddles the river and is one of Minneapolis' newest hotspots, with trendy wine
bars and off-center nightlife.
A couple of can't miss stops:
Minneapolis' hometown Prince was recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. First Avenue & 7th Street Entry
– featured in Purple Rain– is a Minneapolis classic and still one of the hottest clubs in town.
Featured in Conde Nast Traveler as one of the world's
30 hot, new nightspots, duck in for a drink at Infiniti Room – the
slick club located in the swanky Graves 601 Hotel.
Ever
hear the saying, “Cold nose, warm
heart”? It probably originated in Minneapolis. We
take advantage of our snowy winters to do our share of
snuggling, so we’ve become resourceful when it comes
to romance.
