Get geared up for a road trip! Driving to Minneapolis is a snap, as it is surrounded by major freeways from all directions:

Chicago to Minneapolis
• Driving Distance: 407 miles
• Begin on I-90 W/I-39 N. Continue north and west to I-90 W/I-94 W. When I-90/I-94 splits, continue on 1-94 W, to downtown Minneapolis.

Des Moines to Minneapolis
• Driving Distance: 243 miles
• Begin by taking I-235 E. Continue to I-235 N. Bear left to I-35 N. Continue to I-35W N to downtown Minneapolis.

Sioux Falls to Minneapolis
• Driving Distance: 269 miles
• Begin by taking I-229 N. Follow to I-90 E. Continue on I-90 E to I-35 N, towards the Twin Cities. Continue to I-35W N to downtown Minneapolis.

St. Louis to Minneapolis
• Driving Distance: 621 miles
• Begin by taking I-64 E toward Illinois. Merge onto I-55 N. Merge onto I-39 N/US-51 N toward Rockford. Take I-90 W/US-51 N toward Wisconsin. Merge onto I-39 N. Continue to I-90 W/I-94 W. When I-90/I-94 splits, continue on 1-94 W, to downtown Minneapolis.

Winnipeg to Minneapolis
• Driving Distance: 452 miles
• Begin by taking Provincial Highway 42 S to Provincial Highway 75 S. Continue to I-29 S to US-52. Follow US-52 south to I-94 E, to downtown Minneapolis.
