Minneapolis is a walking-friendly city, but it is also driver-friendly. There are more than 65,000 parking spaces in
downtown Minneapolis. Here's where to stash your car while you explore the city:
On the street
Bring change to feed the parking meters if you plan to park on the street. Parking meters have a variety of hourly rates,
limits and time restrictions. Street parking is often hard to find on weekdays and weekend evenings. You should plan to
find a ramp during these times.
In a ramp
Parking ramps and garages, like the Target Center ramp among others, cost anywhere from $7 to $20/day depending on
location and time of day.
At the Mall of America
Parking at the mall is plentiful and user-friendly. Just make sure to remember where you parked.
Park downtown for free!
Head downtown to shop at Gaviidae Common or City Center and park for free! Get validated parking through the Do the Town parking
